The Inlet – Weather moving in

I took this 2 nights ago at work – the weather was moving in.  We had a cold front come in and had heavy winds and seas and the boats and crews worked hard for a few days and nights.  I am glad to be off now for a few days and and working on a Chicken and Sausage Gumbo and am going to kick back.  Wishing you fair winds and following seas.

Best Regards

Good luck with your Gumbo and your journey to Blue Ridge Mountains. I’m not much of a cook but I sure love to eat and gumbo sounds great. Take lots of pictures!

Lesley – the gumbo came out great and the trip to the mountains was awesome!! I think I took over 300 images. This is a wonderful time of year in Virginia and I wish it would last longer.
I hope you have a great day and weekend.

  2. This is a great photo, Jim. The more I look at it the more i see. Those birds in the sky are wonderful and the whole tone to the image is just another world to me (living in the high desert). Love the mood and the textures; adore the photo. And have fun with that gumbo! Enjoy the days. 🙂

Katie – thank you. I love the changes in the weather. I dig storms and the calm sunny weather. Each offering a new light or scene. I hope you have a great day and weekend.
    Best Regards
