I was at work and this tug got im my way. I then took advantage of the situation and took a photo. The evening light looked cool and the scene came out as good as I saw it. (Taken at Lynnhaven Inlet, Virginia Beach, VA)
I took this 2 nights ago at work – the weather was moving in. We had a cold front come in and had heavy winds and seas and the boats and crews worked hard for a few days and nights. I am glad to be off now for a few days and and working on a Chicken and Sausage Gumbo and am going to kick back. Wishing you fair winds and following seas.
Yesterday – Sat Oct 15, 2011 I had the pleasure of taking photos of the Susan G. Komen Walk for the Cure at Virginia Beach Oceanfront. This was an amazing show of support for the cause of beating and curing Breast Cancer. My grreat friend Deb and her crew were walking in it and it was moving to see so many people out for this great event. It was colorful too. Here are a few more images;
I got out of work at 5 AM (Sat Oct 15, 2011) and headed to the Ocean Front at Virginia Beach to shoot some images of the Koman Walk for the Cure – a Breast Cancer fund-raiser and event. I was waiting for some friends to arrive and saw this scene. I love the pastel and peaceful scene.
I took these 2 images while at work at Lynnhaven Inlet today – Thur Oct 13, 2011 around 6:30 PM. The boats are Pilot Boats. The rain was moving through and the rainbow was awesome. I wished I could get to a better vantage point to get more of it – but had to settle for what I could capture. It was a great one to see.
